CND has a pretty fabulous line of lacquers called Colours & Effects. Quick to dry (these are the same nail polishes used at Fashion Week) the colors are strong. The best part about this system is the ease it gives the nail artist.

Did you know that color is proprietary? When mixing paints or polishes, companies have their Pantone combinations registered. Now, take that same combo and move it a digit or two. Voila! Legally, you have a new color. This is why there are so many near dupes/repeats on the market.

CND’s Colours & Effects creates a new game by providing 50 creme shades (Colours) and 15 accents (Effects) of shimmer, pearl and sparkle that can be paired to create nearly 900 colors. The only extra sets to come out are special partnerships, like the Jason Wu collection, or one hot trend per season. The Limited Editions are made as must-haves.
