She’s Got the Look: Emma Roberts at Sundance Film Festival

How did “Homework” actor Emma Roberts get her glow on at Sundance? Well, a little Fiddy (50 Cent) and Chase Crawford sandwich action helped I’m sure, but the real prep came from makeup artist Sonia Lee and Votre Vu.

Lee admits Roberts has “gorgeous young skin” off the bat, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t benefit from treatments. Lee says, “I started with Votre Vu SpecialEyesIntensive Eye Treatment before I applied makeup, and used a bit of Amour d’Ore multi- vitamin oil for face, body and hair to prep her skin and keep the moisture in. Champagne Kisses Enhancing Lip Balm made her lips feel soft and gave me the perfect base for lip color.”

An easy routine to look so fresh, no?

A little coinkydink – I just opened a package to find the Votre Vu Champagne Kisses, and wow. It absolutely melts onto the lips, leaving them very soft and supple. This is the perfect antidote to winterized plaster lips. I think it’s perfect for color base and alone as protection. It also contains Parsol MCX, a sunscreen. No wonder it made an appearance at Sundance.

  1. Hi Patone, it is more of a matte. It has pretty decent staying power as long as you don’t lick it off. Reapplying is good to keep the sunscreen effective too.

  2. Emma is a stunning girl, who gives hope to the rest of us on the theory that “a little dab will do ya.” And not many people can pull off that palette without looking washed out. It looks like the balm is more of a matte then a shimmer- does it have a problem lasting at all?
